End-to-end refits across Cardiff, Newport and the surrounding boroughs. Strip-out, first fix plumbing, tiling, second fix, plastering and decoration, with one team carrying every trade across the door.
Most bathroom renovations fall apart at the seams between trades. The plumber blames the tiler, the tiler blames the plasterer, and the homeowner is left chasing dates. Sycamore does it differently. The plumbing, tiling, plastering, and finish are all done by the same small team, in the right order, with no gaps.
A full renovation typically runs to 10 to 14 working days for a standard family bathroom and 14 to 20 days for an en-suite plus master combination. We start with a strip-out, agree the layout on the floor with masking tape, and only then commit to first fix. Once first fix is signed off, we move to plastering, tiling and second fix.
Designed for clients renovating their forever bathroom, restoring period properties, fitting walk-in showers in older homes, or rebuilding a botched job from a previous trade. We carry insurance, references, and a portfolio of finished work locally.
Every job is run the same way: same team, same trades, same approach. The notes below are how we think about full bathroom renovations specifically.

First fix plumbing, tiling, plastering, second fix and decoration all carried by the same team.
Hidden waste runs, soundproofing in joists, properly bedded trays. The detail you only see when something goes wrong with a cheap fit.
Floors covered, dust contained, end-of-day sweep. Living in the house during the work is normal for our clients.

A few photos and a sketch of the room is usually enough for a first quote. For anything structural or tricky, we come and look.
